I enjoy knitting. I consider myself a proficient knitter, but am always looking for new techniques and ways to improve my knitting. That means I am frequently looking things up (and re-looking them up because I rarely get it right the first time). One day, I realized the only reason I was able to find instructions and inspiration was that people were willing to share what they know. I have decided to throw my hat in the ring and share my experiences in hopes that it may help another exploring fiber artist out there. That is the goal of this work in progress; it is my small contribution to the rich, diverse and always interesting fiber community.
And since the inception of this blog, my fiber interests have grown, matured, and improved. I have added my experiences in weaving to the site, including rigid heddle and 4-shaft adventures. Spinning has also joined my fiber passion fray, as well as needlepoint and a little sewing. Really, I think it is fair to say I just love fiber...in all its forms. Please join in, share if you'd like, and enjoy. I want this to be a conversation for our amazing crafting community. We are mighty.
